Why I coach

I was lucky in my life to have very good and passionate coaches throughout my life help me grow into an adult. Starting with my own dad, pop warner coaches, high school coaches, and even college coaches teaching me something throughout my life. They instilled in me a work ethic, time management skills, how to work with others as a team, and so many other skills that I can relate to everyday life. My goal is to do the same by not only coaching these young athletes to not only be prepared for high school but everyday life. This is my way of paying it forward. My kids were lucky enough to have great coaches who truly cared about them growing into responsible adults. I plan on taking this same approach with softball, as I have done in the past, teaching not only the game of softball but also using the sport to give life lessons.

I will not have a daughter on the team.
